Local amenities and groups
The village hall is the venue for a wide range of clubs, events and classes as well as a number of popular public events including a bonfire party. It has been completely re-furbished after raising over £400,000 for improvements. With two bright and attractive interconnected halls, a terrace, garden and paddock it is very popular for weddings and other gatherings of all kinds.
The Church of All Saints, Dunsden, is part of a Combined Benefice which includes Shiplake and Harpsden. It was here that the WW1 poet, Wilfred Owen, served as assistant to the Rector, before he lost his vocation and signed up to fight.
